In industries, a Strainer is a filtration device used to remove solid particles and debris from liquids or gases.  Installed upstream of sensitive equipment like pumps, valves, and flow meters, strainers help protect these components from damage caused by contamination.

The strainers we offer are Y-type strainers, also known as Y-strainers due to their distinctive “Y” shape.  They are primarily made of stainless steel grades 304, 316, or 316L, providing excellent corrosion resistance for various industrial applications.  These strainers use a perforated mesh with holes sized between 0.8mm and 4.0mm to effectively capture particles, offering versatile filtration options tailored to diverse process requirements and particle sizes.  Our Y-strainers play a crucial role in maintaining process efficiency, reducing maintenance costs, and prolonging the service life of equipment.
