Spray Ball
Sanitary Valves

A Spray Ball is a specialized cleaning device used in food, beverage, brewing, and dairy industries, where internal surfaces of tanks or vessels must be cleaned without dismantling the equipment.  As an essential part of Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems, the spray ball enables efficient and thorough cleaning by distributing cleaning fluids throughout the interior surfaces.

Typically, a spray ball is designed as a hollow sphere made from stainless steel 304 or 316L.  It is perforated with multiple precision-drilled holes or slots to jet out cleaning fluids, such as water or sanitizing agents.

Our spray balls come in two main types: static and rotating.  Static spray balls stay stationary and function solely through the pressure of the cleaning fluid to cover the internal surfaces.  In contrast, rotating spray balls, spin under the force of the cleaning fluid, providing more dynamic coverage and improved cleaning performance, especially for applications that involve sticky or heavily soiled residues.
