A Globe Valve is a type of industrial valve used to stop or regulate the flow of fluids in a pipeline, controlled by a movable disc or plug and a stationary ring seat within a generally spherical-shaped body. The body is divided by an internal baffle, which contains an opening that serves as the valve seat. When the valve is operated, the disc moves vertically onto or away from the seat to restrict or allow fluid flow.
Our globe valves are especially valued for their precise flow regulation, making them ideal in applications requiring accurate throttling and frequent operation. These valves are available in a variety of pressure models, such as 600WOG for threaded end connections, and 150LB, 300LB, or PN16 for flanged end connections. Constructed from stainless steel 316 (ASTM A351 Gr CF8M) or carbon steel ASTM A216 Gr. WCB, our valves offer excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, durability, and high tensile strength.
